Saltee Ferry

Landing on the island is by transfer to dinghy and on to shore. Seaweed and stones on landing area may be slippery. You may have to walk in shallow water and/or seaweed to get ashore. If you are not physically fit or if you suffer from any impediment, you must report it to the operator before you board the vessel.

The operator accepts no responsibility for any dangers on the landing area.

You land on the Island at your own risk.

Barrow Princess

From our outdoor upper deck stunning panoramic views absorb you as the boat passes by woodland, forest, salt marshes and built heritage sites.

See the impressive Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Bridge and Barrow Bridge from a unique perspective. The river and its estuary are significant areas of natural heritage. Already a Special Area of Conservation, the area is also a proposed National Heritage Area such is their sites significance for wildlife and habitats.
