We all – 2 parents and 4 children – very much enjoyed our voyage from New Ross to Waterford and back on the Barrow Princess. The vessel is impressively clean and ‘ship shape and maintains a comfortable and brisk enough speed of about 15kmh (about cycling speed). It is also very stable and so not the slightest thought of mal de mer.

Blessed with a beautiful day to travel with the Saltee Ferry out to the Island for one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Ireland. The lads on the ferry are really great. Super friendly and organised. enjoyed the boat trip out to Saltee then the wee trip ashore in the rib. Also enjoyed the wet landing 🙂
