The Dunbrody Famine Ship

The John F. Kennedy Arboretum
Dedicated to the memory of John F. Kennedy, whose great-grandfather, Patrick, was born in the nearby village of Dunganstown, this arboretum near New Ross, County Wexford, contains a plant collection of presidential proportions.
New Ross Greenway
Connecting Waterford to New Ross & stretching through south Kilkenny; the greenway is under currently under construction.
The new greenway will travel along the old railway line linking New Ross, Co Wexford and Waterford City.
Barrow Bikes
John and Sophie have taken over Barrow Bikes and cafe and delighted to introduce the Hooftop to the cafe to celebrate their fourth year in business. The cafe will see Sandra’s home baking, freshly made toasted sandwiches, soft ice cream and the Hooftop cafés locally roasted Trá Coffee roasters specialty coffee.
Kennedy Homestead
The centre allows visitors to follow the fortunes of the most famous Irish-American family through the 20th century to the present day. The centre features an interpretative exhibit which traces the story from Patrick Kennedy leaving as a famine emigrant to his great grandchildren’s return as US President (John F Kennedy), US Ambassador (Jean Kennedy Smith), founder of the Special Olympics (Eunice Shriver), Attorney General (Bobby Kennedy) and US Senator (Ted Kennedy).
